Weekend Recap

I looked at our calendar in November and realized we didn't have a free weekend until January. this season is just so busy. I love it, I really do, but it gets off schedule and makes things a little hectic around here. Remind me that I said this when we have nothing to do and its too cold to do anything outside.

First up, we went to Reese's birthday party on Saturday. Reese loves The Little Mermaid so her Under The Sea birthday party was perfect. She even had a special guest, Ariel.

 The next few pictures are of Reese and Braylen sneaking into the cake. I really shouldn't deprive my child of sugar and then perhaps she wouldn't act like this at birthday parties.

Chase played Santa for our church Christmas play and gift exchange. You'll see later in the week that this reaction was much better than the one she had when she saw Santa at the mall last week. She was only happy when Kristen (her very best friend from church) sat with her. They are only a few weeks apart and adore each other. If we even mention church Braylen says "Kristen? Friends?" They play so well together and love seeing each other.

 I have plenty of pictures to share with you from our 25 Days of Christmas Books. Usually we wait until after she's had her bath and is in her Christmas pajamas. Tonight, she went straight to the books, sat down and started opening one. I guess someone has this Christmas Book thing down to an art.
