How in the world did those two months go by so quickly? Maybe because we were having so much fun with you. You are a ball of energy and a real joy to everyone around you. You never fail to make everyone smile.
You love your kitchen and you "cook" for us all of the time. You'll give us food and say "Mommy and daddy, eat it!" and you'll make us an ice cream cone with your ice cream set and say "it's delicious!" You always pretend you are drinking coffee out of your cups and put the food in your microwave and say "beeep" when it is finished. We love watching you play!
Your vocabulary never ceases to amaze me. You talk in complete sentences and you tell us what you want or what you don't want. I can even give you a choice for meals and you pick the one you like best. You answer "yes" or "no" and I even get the occasional "yes ma'am." You refer to yourself as the baby and if we ask you "Who's special?" You say, "The baby's special." Indeed, you are. You can also tell us that you are fantastic, pretty and sweet, I'm gladly you think just as highly of yourself as we do.
Anytime you fall down or bump your head you say "I'm sorry" I think it must come from me consoling you and saying "I'm sorry" to you. I'm not completely sure but I do know that it is absolutely precious.
As you get closer to two you are becoming more independent. You like to put puzzles together and take care of your babies. You feed them and rock them and then tell them "night, night." You love to hide in your tent and your daddy and I spend a good amount of time in there hiding with you. I was so impressed when you put your M&D alphabet puzzle together the first day I showed it to you and each day you retain a few new letters.
You love music and singing and dancing. You play your piano for us and sing your own little songs all of the time. A few favorites are "Jesus Loves Me," "The ABC song," and "Twinkle, Twinkle." And I'm not sure where you heard it but you also love "Baby," your daddy must have played it for you!
And dressing yourself? You think that is pretty fun too. If you could you would wear your boots everywhere we go, especially if I'm wearing mine.
We adore you sweet BK and each day is a little more sweeter than the last.
- Clothes Size 24M/2T and some 18M
- Diaper Size: 3
- You weigh around 24 pounds and are 33 inches long. You're still so tall and skinny, just like your daddy was at this age.
- You wear a size 5 1/2 shoe.
- Your vocabulary is excellent and we've yet to stump you with a word. You repeat everything we say.
- I can't believe how well you are talking and using sentences. You say things like "I want an orange" or "Mommy, I cook for you" It's crazy that in such a short time you've really learned to express yourself so well. I am constantly amazed at your big vocabulary.
- Your favorite toys are your kitchen, Melissa and Doug ice cream set and alphabet puzzle and your baby dolls.
- Favorite foods: Greek yogurt, pancakes, oranges, bananas, apples, peanut butter, goldfish, spaghetti, chicken and cheese. You love water and milk too.

E and BK act so much alike (it seems!), but man are they built different!! When you said BK could still fit in 18 month clothes, I laughed! E can wear some 3T. Big girl!! I can't believe they're 21 months old. We need to email/chat about birthday ideas!! I need some help!

BK is just adorable! That's amazing that she's talking in full sentences and has such a large vocabulary. As one myself, I can tell she's definitely a teacher's daugher!
