- There's a pretty big game on tonight and you can bet I've got my houndstooth on today. Of course, I want my team to win but I do think its pretty cool that there are two SEC teams playing for the title. Best conference in the country, y'all!
- My first week of teaching was a success. We fell into a routine and BK just waved bye as I left every morning. I am so thankful. I would hate to leave her crying but that's far from the reaction I get, she's happy to stay at our house with her nanny Helen. I called one day to check on her and she said "Mommy, you teach babies." I love, love, love that sweet girl.
- I downloaded the pictures from my camera to my computer yesterday I came across some that Allen took of Braylen when they were playing on Friday. Clearly, her daddy dressed her, but she looks like such a big girl! And those Missoni boots? Her favorite shoes ever!

- As far as New Year's resolutions go the first week was a success. The diet coke and sweets thing? The two I was most worried about? Not a problem at all. The eating out thing and the exercise thing could use some improvement.
- Speaking of resolutions my overall goal was to get healthy! I downloaded the My Fitness Pal ap and I used it every day this week. It has been instrumental in holding me accountable for what I eat everyday. Actually, I'm two pounds down after the first week. Best of all? It's free and has a barcode scanner!
- You know I snuck in a little twin loving this weekend. I got to help out while Brooke took their pictures. We're definitely not thinking about #2 anytime soon but this does do a number to the baby fever.
- And we took the youth from church bowling on Friday night. It was a lot of fun even if my bowling score was embarrassing.
- I've wrote and scheduled all of my posts on Sunday last week and it worked really good! It's a good way to keep the blog up to date and not stay up way past by bedtime writing a post for the next day.

ReplyDeleteJust to clarify - Braylen looks like a little girl as opposed to a toddler. I realized I hadn't quite made that clear in my original comment!
