First, I want to say thank-you for all of the sweet comments on my last few posts. Things have been a little crazy around here and while I haven’t sat down to comment I have read all of the sweet things you guys have said.
We quickly moved everything into the new house over the weekend and I wanted to share some pictures on the blog. Obviously not of anything actually finished because well we still so many things left to unpack.
I’m thankful for a whole summer off to get everything unpacked and settled.
Last Thursday marked our first night in the new house and each day it feels a little more like our home. I still have moments where I can’t believe we finally moved into a new house after trying to sell the other one for so long and I have times where I feel really nostalgic for the old house we left behind. Even though I know we’re going to make some great memories here too.
Over the next few months I hope to get everything decorated like I’d like it to be. I’m actually a slow decorator, I need a plan in place before I start buying random things but as we get each room finished I’ll share the progress on the blog.
Enough talk, let me show you around the new place…
We moved a little closer to my parents and family without getting too far away from our jobs and Allen’s family. Now we’re right in the middle of both and equal distances away from either place.
Above is the entryway and pictured below is our dining room. Two views I fell in love with when we first looked at the house back in February.

Another thing I fell in love with is this bonus room we are going to use as a playroom. It’s not quite finished but I did get all of the toys organized and back in their place today.
BK has adjusted so well. She wants to show everyone around when they come over and she loves her “new room.”
We love that the master is on the main level and the bonus room and other bedrooms are upstairs. We definitely have room to grow (even though that’s not happening any time in the near future).
