Gameday with Marzetti Kitchens℠!

I recently had the opportunity to familiarize myself with the Marzetti Kitchens website, and try my hand at some of the great recipes featuring products from the T. Marzetti Company. I instantly loved how easy the site is to navigate, you can view recipes by product, dish type, or cuisine. If you’re like me, and you’re always searching for new tools to take mealtime up a notch from the boring and mundane category, then this site is definitely what you need. Because the T. Marzetti Company boasts of many brands you already know and love, the variety is endless.

I was immediately drawn to the Gameday Solutions section. As you know, I live in the South and game day and Saturday are interchangeable in the fall. Everything revolves around college football, from birthday parties to -simple get-togethers with friends and family. And one thing is always expected, good food. I absolutely love this time of year. I’m a busy mother and wife, but it seems like on Saturdays in the South time stands still for game day. We have friends and family over, or we take a dish somewhere and watch the game with fellow fans. I am always looking for new and exciting recipes to add to my game day collection, and I was thrilled when I stumbled upon this section over at Marzetti Kitchens.

The website is full of fun and inspiring recipes, but it is also full of a wealth resources for planning those game day parties and tailgates as well. There’s a party planning guide and a tailgating checklist, that will come in handy at some point this season.

Last Saturday, I made the Southwest Tortilla Bites, and they were an instant hit. They feature Marzetti Southwest Ranch Veggie Dip and the recipe is easy to make. It was a hit for even the youngest member of our family. The dip is packed full of flavor and perfectly complements the other elements in the recipe. I actually wanted to dive right in before I even had the chance to garnish.

But, I’m sure glad that I did wait, because the finished product turned out amazing. A real crowd pleaser and fun to look at, too!

And I must share, we love this Marzetti® Ranch Veggie Dip in our house. I always know I need to eat more veggies, but I’m never really successful, until I tried this. It’s a great dip for carrot sticks and celery, and it perfectly complements any vegetable tray for a quick appetizer when friends are over. I was actually scouring the website for a recipe to use it in and came across these Buffalo Chicken Wonton Cups, and they were promptly added to the weekly menu plan.

You try it out, chances are some of your favorite brands are featured on the Marzetti Kitchens site. Come back and tell me which recipe you want to try for a chance to win a $100 Visa Gift Card!
