February is going to have a little less pressure than January. We have a fun adventure planned for Allen’s birthday this weekend, and I just want to make sure we’re really taking time for friends and family, and enjoying these days. This time, I still set monthly, weekly, and daily goals, but only three of each. Making things a little more manageable will help with accomplishing these goals.
Monthly:
1. Organize Photos- I’m going to spend this month really focused on getting the 40,000+ photos organized. That seems a little ridiculous, but many of them need to be culled.
2. 21 Day Fix- We did good with Whole 30 last week, but I’m ready for a change! My 21 Day Fix should be here by Monday and I’m excited to get started with that!
Weekly:
1. Blog- I definitely need to blog more, and I’m going to try my best to be on a more consistent schedule this month.
2. Snail Mail- BK loves sending things in the mail to people, she draws random pictures and sticks them inside envelopes for me to send in the mail. We’re going to be more intentional about that this month.
Daily:
1. Ready before the kids- Y’all! I don’t know what happened to the person who used to get up and ready before the sun was shining. But, this month, I want to get a gripe on that and get up and ready and enjoy a little quiet time before Braylen and Judson wake up. Because let’s be honest, there is no quiet time. At all. Braylen is in school for four hours three days each week and Judson is with me all of the time. Which is great and I adore spending my days with them, but I think a little quiet time will go a long way.
2. Bible Journaling- One of the things I want to continue is reading my Bible each morning and journaling.
It’s going to be a great month, friends!

I’m so glad to know that I’m not the only one with 1.000’s upon 1,000’s of photos to be organized. I have a goal to have this done by the end of the year. I’m taking an “event” at a time, editing, deleting, and naming. I’ve made it through a few months so far, but I have 9 years to go!
I love your goals! Keeping what’s truly important as your focus!

I love that you set these goals and blog about them. It is something I want to work on, and seeing you write about it every month helps me too.
Being a SAHM really does limit you when it comes to having a moment for yourself. I agree – I always feel a little bit less harried in the morning when I get up and have at least a few minutes to myself before the morning rush to get to school begins.
We also randomly mail people pictures my kids draw. Let’s face it, there are so freaking many drawings and small pictures from school. This way I don’t have the guilt of throwing them out, and all the aunts and grandparents and great-grandparents have something to hang on their fridges, too! ๐
