There are a million and one things that Allen does that solidify his position as the absolute best. But, can we talk about the fact that he spent his Saturday in Tuscaloosa with me cheering on the Tide, in the rain. Okay, okay, maybe he wasn’t exactly cheering on the Tide, but he did watch the game. And walk around aimlessly with me in an attempt to find chicken fingers, when nothing else would do.
In case you didn’t know, there’s a little rivalry in our state between two college football teams and we just happen to sit on opposite sides. Except, I don’t mind cheering on Auburn (just as long as it isn’t the Saturday after Thanksgiving). And well, he’ll even take me to an Alabama game sometimes.
Last week, I took to Instagram to see if it would be socially appropriate for me to start wearing workout clothes everyday. Apparently, it’s already a thing for many of my friends, and I felt like they gave me the green light. I tested my new plan on Saturday and it worked, I may never wear pants that button again. That, my friends, is a Lululemon top and Wunder Under leggings. I think I’ll wear this outfit 3 times a week until summer. And Allen surprised me with those red Hunters as an early birthday present.
Fair warning, a fashion blogger I’m not, but if that eye-roll emoticon wasn’t made for me…
It was rainy and cold, but we did find some great people to tailgate with, and they had the ultimate setup. Tents and a television, Louisiana friends that cooked delicious gumbo and jambalaya with all the snacks you could ever want. It may have been wet and chilly, but look at those feet, I don’t think anyone had any trouble keeping their feet dry.
And our seats may have been less than stellar, but can there be bad seats when you’re sitting with some of your favorites and your team is scoring more points than the second ranked team in the nation? I think not.
We found our warm and cozy bed around 2:00 AM, and I might be caught up on sleep by next Saturday. Roll Tide, friends!

Girl, you will loooove those Hunters! I got my red ones last year as a Mother’s Day gift, and I actually enjoy a little rain now because it gives me an excuse to wear them!
