My sweet friend, Erin, does this fun post each week and links to her favorite posts from around the web. It’s always something I look forward to, sometimes I discover a new blog or a post that I wouldn’t have read otherwise. I thought I’d give you the run-down of my favorite posts from this past week. Maybe you can find something you love in this list or discover a great blog that you didn’t know was out there.
- This was a post I read from the Build ‘Em Up series. I love the honesty and it is written so beautifully, I can relate to the same things. She writes about so many of the things that are close to my heart like giving grace and the responsibility we carry as we set an example for the little ones who look up to us.
- Preschool Bento’s from Megan Musing I met sweet Megan at Blissdom and I am so happy I did. Upon checking out her blog I discovered these adorable bento-style lunches. Now, you know I love a creative toddler lunch, but Megan’s creations? Blow mine out of the water.
- Heather and I actually live really close to each other but we might for the first time at the airport last Thursday, headed to Blissdom. We had a conversation with Darlene from Fieldstone Hill designs during the Girls Night Out event at Blissdom. She shared so much of heart and Heather does a great job writing about Darlene’s Master Designer manifesto in this post.
- Our Family Mission from Blue Eyed Bride– I love how Erin shares her faith in such an encouraging way. Her words perfectly describe the body of Christ and the amazing influence and inspiration she has received from her church family.
- Skinny Taste Chocolate Drizzled Coconut Macaroons– I need a friend to come help me eat this when I make them, my husband loathes coconut but I’ve had them on my mind since I read this post last Saturday.
Also, not a weekly read, but I’m joining a fun Instagram challenge on Monday. Head over to my Instagram feed (@jenniferggreen) and look for the Pin Style challenge photo to get a little more information. Basically, just recreate your favorite Pinterest looks using the threads you already own. Simple, maybe? Next Monday, Kristin (@fieldsfamily) is going to host a link-up and you can show off your Pinterest Style Challenge looks.

Happy Easter! I’m so honored that you featured my “When Messy Gets Old” post. It was written from my heart and when I wrote it, I hoped that I didn’t sound like I was just complaining. Being a Mom is the greatest gift ever, but we do have to recognize it’s challenges and then encourage each other to handle those tricky things well. Thank you for understanding me! It means a lot!
