We had a pretty low key weekend around here.
- We spent Friday evening and all day Saturday working on the basement… but we are almost finished and its just in time for football season! Well, maybe I should rephrase that: Allen and his brother spent a lot of time working in the basement. I mainly played with this sweet girl…
- On Saturday evening we went out to eat at Tierra Caliente. Of course, Allen was ready before me so he went to get Braylen ready. He brought her back to me like this…
Complete with the wrist rattle, pink socks, and the headband (that was too big)! I was laughing so hard and he was like “What??” he thought it was fine. Ha!! No worries though she was ready to go with a few minor adjustments…
- After church my mom and I baked. I guess its become a Sunday afternoon tradition. We made these Almond Joy inspired cupcakes. Chocolate cupcakes with coconut filling topped with chocolate ganache and almonds and then rolled in toasted coconut. Yum!
