Seriously, who doesn't love Saturday? No obligations and no alarm clocks, well at least not at our house. Of course, most Saturdays we have things to do (showers or teas, weddings, dinner at a friends house) but they are always outside the realm of the mundane weekly things. Upon Braylen's arrival we really started to take Saturdays seriously and any Saturday we can spend together, at home, has immeasurable worth.Today wasn't really one of those Saturdays. Allen and I both had things to do. He had yard work and Braylen and I had errands to run. I definitely think that we had the better end of the deal :)But guess what came today??? MY CAMERA!!!! Dancing Queen
My girl has been dancing like crazy lately. A few weeks ago she started dancing every once in a while while playing. Much like everything else that she does, one day it was if the switch was flipped and now she dances to everything. The video below is at my parents the other night. This is mild. Seriously. She really gets into it. This particular song well its not my favorite... BUT this song ALWAYS makes her dance. And while we were in Nashville she danced at the Valentine "party" that we went to, so funny. Weekend Away
This weekend we traveled to Nashville for a weekend getaway. I felt like it was much needed and Allen did all the work, booked the room and told me we were going. We stayed at the Gaylord Opryland hotel, and it was absolutely beautiful. I took some pictures but I'm not sure they really do it justice...And huge! Close to 3,000 rooms, several restaurants, stores, coffee shops, beautiful gardens, pools and even an indoor boat ride. We will defintley be making more trips here in the future. Our room had a balcony and this is the view we had...We walked around some of the gardens and Braylen was so happy!
