On Friday Allen came home a little early and asked if we wanted to go fishing. Now, y'all know how I feel about the outdoors. Not to mention its a million and four degrees outside and the humidity is hovering somewhere around 110%. But, that Trace Atkins song was playing in the back of my mind and I thought I'd be a team player and go fishing. And to think, I almost missed out on these sweet moments because of the heat. B loved the fish Allen caught. She saw the crickets and said "bite," I had to quickly remind her that it was a bug not a "bite," and well we all know how she feels about bugs. It's true, I must admit. I'm a Mommy blogger.You know the type.I post a zillion pictures of my child.Monthly updates that are likely to drive you insane.I say my childs age in months instead of years (something the truly drove me crazy pre-baby).I get really happy when she does cool things like say, walking or using a fork correctly.As much as I'd like to be a fashionista blogging about wonderful clothes and trendy boutiques. Pinterest Project: DIY Chalkboard
I've been throwing around the idea of a Pinterest Project of the Week post. This week I decided I wanted to tackle the chalkboard. Since we remolded the kitchen we were left with a big empty wall above the desk area. I knew a chalkboard would be perfect for this spot and I've been pinned several different ideas for inspiration.
