After the Iron Bowl on Saturday we started the Grinch and set out to decorate the Christmas tree. BK even put on her new Christmas pj’s for the occasion. She was a big helper as we fluffed the branches.
We put up three Christmas trees. One main Christmas tree in the living room, one in our bedroom and a pink tree in Braylen’s room. The tree in our living room is a mixture of ornaments that we’ve collected over the past six years. I love decorating this tree since each ornament holds special meaning.
Like this one from our first Christmas together…
And this one that Allen made when he was a child…
We picked this one up on our trip to the Biltmore Estate a few years ago…
Braylen’s tiny handprint from her first Christmas last year…
And a sweet ornament from a student I’ll always remember…
I could go on and on about the ornaments on this tree and the special meaning each one holds. We’ll continue to add to it each year. The only theme being memories.
How do you decorate your Christmas tree? Does it have a certain theme or is it a mixture of ornaments like ours?

Your tree is so pretty! I LOVE family trees. We get a giant real tree with memories as the theme, too. My mom puts up 3 trees and our family tree was always my favorite so I’m continuing the tradition for me and Mark and our future minis ๐
