Keeping true to last years Christmas posts, I can’t skimp on Christmas. I can’t combine the fun with all our families into one or two posts so the best way for me to do this is to divide it up into parts.
First up, we had Christmas with Allen’s family on Friday night. We like to get together before Christmas Eve or Christmas day so that we can enjoy each other without having to rush off to another Christmas party. It was so much fun, we all sat and ate together in our dining room (it literally gets used a few times per year so I’m always thrilled to eat at the dining room table with family or friends).
I made a mini version of the hot chocolate bar I’ve seen pinned all over Pinterest. Just sprinkles, marshmallows and chocolate dipped peppermint sticks for stirring. The hot chocolate K-cups were so good too!
Braylen had the best time playing with Lawson and Bailey, the guys took to playing music and singing Christmas songs and the girls were able to just sit and talk, we had the best time.
Cindy (Allen’s mom) arranged for Brooke to come over and take pictures of everyone as a family. It’s just so hard to get pictures of everyone together and this was a perfect idea. She came over first thing so we could take them outside before it got too dark I can’t wait to see how they turned out.

I love getting together with my family on the 23rd. It is much more relaxed (as much as it can be) because you are not thinking about every next thing!
Such a great idea about someone coming to take pictures!!
I love that last picture of you and Braylen! So adorable!!
