Santa!

I wasn't sure of how Braylen would react to Santa. She's usually willing to go to anyone and happy to talk to anyone she meets. We waited in line and while we were waiting she was such a sweet girl. She kept saying, "I see Santa Claus." I prepped her by telling her that she was going to sit with Santa and say "Cheese" so she even practiced saying "Cheese" and smiling her biggest smile over and over again while we waited.

When our time came we took her up to see him and she waved and said "Hi, Santa Claus" but going to sit in his lap was a different story. It started when he asked her would she sit with him and she promptly responded "No, no, nope, no."  The moment we sat her down she acted like we had just tricked her and she looked so sad and then the tears came...

As soon as I picked her up she was completely fine. She waved bye-bye and blew him a kiss, but sitting on his lap? It was just too much.
