I'll be linking up with the Nester for the next month as I join her 31 Days series this year. To start off math each day we have calendar time. We talk about the day, month and year and recite the date as a whole. A few weeks back we were saying the date, "Today is Monday, September 17, 2012," and it hit me. This is the only Monday, September 17, 2012 I'll ever have, what am I doing today? It's easy to rush through our days, to get caught up in the day-to-day routine, to long for the weekend. a weekly round of catch-up
Last week BK had her second trim. The curls were unruly and I thought a good shape up might make them a little more manageable. We're lucky because we don't have to brave the salon and worry about the toddler waterworks in order to tame her locks. My aunt Shelia just stopped by on Monday, scissors in hand and took care of the haircut. Speaking of hair, I made a trip to the salon on Wednesday to get those awful roots taken care of. Susannah’s “You Are My Sunshine” Sip and See
This past weekend I co-hosted a "You are My Sunshine" sip and see for Susannah and baby Crue. I used the adorable party theme that Sweet Birdie's Nest created for a shower that Erin hosted. Erin's blog post was the inspiration for this shower and she was such a huge help while I was planning. I found this precious board book on Amazon. It has the lyrics to the song throughout the book. Everyone signed the book with a sweet note for Crue. I think it will be a special keepsake. The adorable Welcome Baby Crue banner.
