Thanksgiving is hands-down my favorite holiday. Even better than my birthday or Christmas and not lost in commercialism. It’s simple and delicious. It requires nothing more of us than eating our favorite foods with our favorite people. This year we are hosting Thanksgiving in our new home, for the first time.
Our life looks a little different than it did at Thanksgiving last year. We have so much to be thankful for and I can’t help but get a little emotional when I think of all of the blessings God has given our family. I couldn’t name them all if I tried. Not even telling you something I am thankful for each day would be enough. Because I’m constantly reminded of little things throughout the day that I am so thankful for. My hope is that this thankfulness continues throughout the year, that we never take for granted just how blessed we are. Most of all, I’m thankful for my Savior.
And then of course, my family.
