There are times that I get so wrapped up in what I think I should be teaching Braylen, that I miss the mark completely. Those times when I'm blinded by the fact that I'm reminding her to say please or thank-you for what seems like the ten-thousandth time, I lose sight of what I'm even requesting of her, I'm too focused on just getting her to do the right thing. Too focused on getting her to do what I ask, to follow this set of rules, to do these specific things. When my focus shifts, I forget the most important thing, she's here to teach me too. When it comes to fashion there are few things I love more than versatility. I can justify a purchase quickly if I know it can carry me through several seasons and be styled in more than one way. My latest versatile purchase? A pair of mint skinny jeans. I've been wearing them this season with thick navy sweaters and a leopard print scarf over bold patterns. How about Friday's installment of the Stick It In A Jar series on Monday? This has to be one of my favorite jars that I've created. It's a Date Night Jar for Braylen.
