I'm not quite sure how we ended up in our current sleep situation. Braylen is vibrant and full of life and she has such a difficult time shutting everything off and falling asleep at night. There aren't meltdowns or fits, she just lays and tosses and turns, sings songs, talks to her stuffed animals, she just has a hard time settling in and drifting off to sleep. As a former kindergarten teacher, I recognize the importance of reading. Letting your children see and hear you read, letting them read to you, it's a foundation for all other learning, so we are sure to emphasize reading in our house.
