We had such a wonderful Thanksgiving this year. We started out the day by watching the parade and cooking a few things. Braylen loved the big balloons and the music, she was so mesmerized by the parade. I get the fun task of making duplicates of everything. Double the green bean casserole, double the Symphony brownies and double the mac and cheese. Each Thanksgiving we visit Allen's grandparents and have lunch with his family around noon. Then we head to my parents house and eat again around 2:00. Both sides of my family come to my parents house for Thanksgiving. I can't tell you how much better this makes things for us. thankful.
There's something different about this time of the year. I don't know what's in the air but something about the holidays makes everything a little better. People become more generous, their hearts a little kinder and even if its just for a few months I think the level of happiness increases slightly amongst the general population.I always hear people say "you should be thankful all of the time, not just at Thanksgiving" and you should. Crock Pot Macaroni and Cheese
I'll have to apologize in advance for sharing this recipe. I can't imagine it being healthy in any way, shape or form and calculating WW points for this would be insane. But, hey its the holidays and I promise its worth every single calorie. Just don't think about it :)The recipe below is the original recipe, doubled.
